Finally, our trip worked out as we reached edinburgh via glasgow from cork yesterday. at first, since i have a job interview on this week, my hubby planned to cancell all our travel plan. ingatkan dh x jadi nak jalan, tapi Alhamdulillah.segala yg berlaku ditakdirkan Allah...
so, here we are in edinburgh at the moment.
so far, our itinerary went on as below:
day 1:
departure from cork at 1455, and reached glasgow airport at 1630.Alhamdulillah, x miss flight kali ni. flight ticket pon x mahal, kebetulan ade ticket offer. 50 euros return for two through Ryanair. not bad. tu pon mahal sbb checked in one luggage. so,kire okayla...berbaloi.
from glasgow, we took train to Edinburgh waverly station. not as expensive as we thought in the beginning since dpt half price tiket sbb gune ryanair ticket evidence. dlm GBP 7 each to edinburgh.
arrived at around 7-ish kat edinburgh. Pakcikku dh tunggu. so, terus naik bas ke umah pakcik. weather agak sejuk jugakla compared to cork. nasibbaik aku dah prepare awal2 bawak winter coat. kalau x, beku jugakla..kat sini, according to my pakcik, selalu hujan selang seli ngan cerah. kalau cerah pon, sejuk sbb berangin. cork pon mcm ni jugak, but i think the weather is much nicer ;p. hehe...
nothing much we did on the first day...malam tu, tido..ZzzzZZZ
day 2:
we went out heading to city aerly in the morning. at first, weather forecast HTC aku kate akan hujan. Luckily for us, by the time we went out, the weather turned out to be very nice. cerah though still windy. we headed straight to Carlton Hill..since aku tanya pakcik aku ade x tempat yg boleh amek gambar atas bukit yg boleh overlook Edin city (idea ni aku dpt after tgk gambar frenster ex-roommate aku ). so, my uncle brough us there. 5 stars scenery. Subhannallah...basically, u can have a view on every corner of edinburgh dr carlton hill. kat situ, ade bational monument( looks like 'unfinished' pantheon, erected at 1850, but the construction stopped halfway sbb x cukup budget,haha..) ada nelson monument/tower, ade meriam, and boleh nampak arthur's seat(volcanic hill) dr situ.
lps jalan2 amek gambar kat carlton hill, kitorg gi jalan2 bandar. pakcik aku bwk gi jalan2 tgk monument kat bandar, and ke edinburgh dungeon. kitorg x masuk sbb mahal kalau beli on site. kalau beli online lagi murah sbb 50% off. so, x masuk umah hantu ni. tgklah next time. tp aku memang interested.
lps tu, kitorg climbed up stairs ke edinburgh castle, penat...tinggi plak tu panjat tgga dr waverly train station.
jalan2 kat mile road before smp dpn edinburgh castle. tu pon singgah kat kedai woolmill dpn castle tu.
castle pon kitorg x masuk sbb mahal. GBP 11 utk one adult. mahalla...lagi plak, kitorg pon dh penah masuk castle sblm ni. xkan ade byk bezanya...
slps tu kitorg gi tgk Camera Obscura and The World of Illusion kat castleHill. 6.50 GBP utk adult entrance.best..
sbb x solat lagi, kitorg singgah masjid edinburgh utk solat jama' ta'akhir. smpat makan kat kedai halal kat situ dulu sblm solat. harga die reasonable jugakla...alhamdulillah, smpat isi perut kat situ.
pastu, kami amek gambar dpn DEpt of NeuroScience, Uni of Edinburgh sblm berjalan pulang ke rumah. tupon, smpat jugak singgah kedai beli2 mknn utk wat bekalan esok,InsyaAllah..
balik umah dh lewat petang. Syifa' yg ikut kitorg pon dh tertido dlm bas.sian die. tapi lasakla budak tu.jalan jauh2, tp x meragam cam budak2 lain. bagus betul!
lps balik umah, makan2, dah ngantuk...so, aku akan tido kejap lagi...
hehe..itinerary esok nanti akan di update after aktiviti berjalan....till then, wassalam..
Day3:
hari ni, aku tensen tetibe. beriya aku surf internet sbb plan2 nak jalan2 ngan kete sekitar edinburgh arini, tetibe syarikat kete aku tempah bagitau yg diorg xde kete tu waktu pagi, tengahhari baru diorg ade. aku tensen betul. dahla siap plan semua.kete pon dh kire booked online smlm. hari ni plak cerah yg amat, sesuai utk gi jalan. lps pening2 pale pkkan kete yg x dpt waktu pg, kitorg decide utk amek jugak kete tghhari tu. so,kirenye our journey only began around 12 noon.
kitorg naik 2 kete. aku ngan hubby satu kete, pakdir satu family the other car. best, aku dapat kete yaris 2008, kete idaman aku.haha..
mule2,kitorg gi jalan2 stirling castle. tp x masukla. iyelah, mahal sgt tiket nak masuknye. dahla ade budak2 semua. tp weather mmg sgt menarikla. sbb cerah. jd kami jalan2 katkedai kat situ, and amek2 gambar je. suke. castle tu stituated on the top of mountain. so, scenery die mmg lawa sgt.
slps tu, kitorg gi jalan2 ikut rabbie's trail burners. mmg lawa aa tpt die. aku rase mmg lagi lawa dr Ireland. especially kat Rannoch MOor. Subhanallah..mmg lawa sgt. takleh describe dgn kata. kitorg naik kete di tgh2 bukit2, pastu since skrg tgh autumn, pemandangan die is soo indescribable. dgn kaler pokok2 yg bermacam2...pastu, ade lake, ade puncak gununng yg ade salji.best sgt!!!tapi biaselah, travel musim2 camni, mmg sejuk.
pastu, kitorg siggah kat satu inn ni (tak ingat da name die). mase penggambaran harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban, bukkit2 sekitar inn ni dijadikan filming set. mmg lawa aa...kitorg solat jama' kat situ.
passtu, kitorg travel lagi pegi ke fort william.xde ape2 sgt kat situ. weather turned out to be bad that evening.asyik hujan aje.last2 kitorg stay dlm kete je bile smp fort william tu..hujan lebat+lapar. che da bukak bekal mihun goreng. best!hehe...makan bile lapar, sungguh kenyang!hehe
pastu, tertido. hubby bwk kete sorang2...die ngantuk jugak, tp kenela tahan.smpai lochness mane ntah, tp x kuar kete.sejuk+hujan.huhu...pastu, nampak old edinburgh bridge on the way back to edin. lawa...bile malam je, hujan stop. tp bile jalan malam2, tak nampak ape, cume nampak gelap je kat depan and kiri kanan.
tp overall, journey ni mmg best. terasa nak jalan2 kat edinburgh lagi.hehe...
