Ada dapat UPSR 5A

i thought i should mention that my younger and tallest sister in the family, syuhada aka shada, got 5A's in UPSR. result was just announced two days ago by the education Minister. anyway, i knew this great news after being informed by elder sis by text

'jah,nak bagitahu s2 bende, shada dpt 5a'

i was soo happy. it was unexpected.why i say so?not that i undermine my adik's ability, tapi she was so shy, was soo lazy back then when she was in third grade. i remember she was soo into playing with her friends, and ignored her study.i guess she is different now. still shy, but she has proved me wrong.proud of her actually.

i remembered the old days when i got 4A's in this same exam. got offer to pursue my study in Kolej Yayasan Saad. it was newly opened that time.year 1995 if i'm not mistaken. abah wished that i continue my secondary school in Maahad MMP, Kota Bharu. i showed him the offer letter, but he was not interested. when i insisted to go there, then he started reading that offer letter. when he came accross the word 'swiming suit', as the letter mentioned that they provide swimming pool and any student who is interested, may bring their own swimming suit. i know abah did not understand all the english sentences in that offer letter, but he knew well the word 'swimming suit'. so, he rejected it. when he rejected, it also meant that my dream to go to SBP ruined.

anyway, abah did make a good decision for me. otherwise, my destiny would not be the same. i might not be here now, if not to abah's strict rules and regulations at home.

back to shada?i hope she continues the 'sister's tradition' by going to MMP. (i was the first went to mmp, followed with tining, iti, and now shada.kak ann went to SMZ for her secondary school). we'll see.i might give her a call today to congratulate her. well done sis!

rang her this morning.she sounded very excited over the phone. claim for present from me. said that abah gave her RM 50 as present. =) promise her to buy new sony ericsson phone. tgkla nanti, if i dont change my mind.otherwise, i'll buy her sthg else. just dont want to indulge her with the 'texting-world'*
