GP visit @ 34+ weeks

actually, i am 34+4 weeks today.

alhamdulillah, quite a satisfactory visit to my GP today.x tunggu lama pon for my turn.

anyway, baby is doing fine, with good movement. fetal heart rate is fine. BP is ok. and urine is NAD. overall, my baby and me are doing great.yehoo!

however, the morning i woke up before getting ready to see the GP, i actually was shocked looking at both of my hands. they were oedematous. they looked like as if they are giant alien's hands. i felt tingling sensation all over the palmar and dorsal part of the hands, partcularly around the median nerve distributions on the hands. i guess i got carpal tunnel syndrome plus the oedema. since my feet was fine, i think it was partly because of my sleeping position. i slept on my right side this am as i could not bear having back pain whenever i sleep on my back. but the oedema also affects the left hand. so, could it be other problem??

i was worried, thinking that i might have pre-eclampsia with sudden swollen hands and legs. but thinking carefully, my BP and my urine have been fine all along, and i dont have any other symptoms of pre-eclampsia,no headache,no nausea or vomiting, or epigastric pain. plus, it's only happened today, and i am on my way to GP anyway. since the GP find nothing wrong with me, i think it's just false alarm. being overly anxious about myself could not help me in this case. oh, please tell me to not worry about myself...

anyway, my next visit to CUMH is on this coming 22nd june @ 36 weeks. hoping that everything is smooth sailing this time. baby, i cant wait to see u!!
