Leaking...

we had problem with water leaking from the water boiler pump since last night which resulted in drenching wet carpet in our hallway. too bad as we would like to invite guests to our house today.

it started around 2 or 3am in the morning. i was on my way to the toilet from the living room to take wudu' when i noticed the wetness of the carpet in the hallway. i told my husband immediately about that. knowing that nothing we can do about it as it involved the water boiler, i told my husband to just informed the landlord the next morning about it. but,being as he is, he cant stay doing nothing when something goes wrong. he spent hours last night trying to find the source of the leakage, and he found it. the water trickled down the pump non stop. as a result, he had all the buckets, the tupperwares, and also includes the baby bath tub to contain the leaking water. our hallway is indeed soaking wet. luckily, with his ideas, we could at least contain the water from spreading to the whole house.

we tried to inform the landlord as early as 7 o clock in the morning, but to no avail.nobody answered the phone, and when hubby went to their house this morning, nobody answered the bell. it was hard for us, as we hardly contained the water inside the bucket/bath tub.it kept flowing. i have to keep empty the bucket, but with me having to go for ANC check up earlier in the morning today, i know the water will be flowing out onto the carpet. that is why we need to have the plumber repair it as soon as possible, otherwise, we will bee sleeping in water bed tonight.

hubby even tried to ring the supplier of the waterpump to find if the could do smething about it. in the meantime, we tried to reach the landlord. the landord was reachable arond 11 am that morning. after informing them about what has happened,she arranged for a plumber to come to our house. i was expecting the plumber to come sooner, but he only appeared in our doorway at 7pm. imagine, by that time, we have been empttying the bucket for 100th time. lembab sungguh!huhu...

but anyhow, he did someting to the water pump. according to hubby who was with hime when he repaired the damage, he said that it was the 'gasket?' inside the water pump that has broken and causing the leakage. he disconnected the water pump to repair it, and he will come back tomorrow bringing the repaired one, together with de humidifier for our wet house. glad that it's over...
